Our program is divided into the following phases:
- Knowledge Development : Through independent study and theoretical sessions, you will understand the essential principles and techniques for diving rescue.
- Confined Water Training : In a controlled environment, you will practice rescue and self-rescue skills, preparing you for real-life scenarios.
- Open Water Diving : You will apply what you have learned in simulated situations at sea, managing emergencies and performing effective rescues.

- Certification : Possess a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification or equivalent.
- Minimum Age : 15 years.
- First Aid Training : Have completed an Emergency First Response (EFR) course or similar within the last 24 months. If you don't have one, you can get one through us.

- 12 years old
- Be certified as a PADI (Junior) Adventure Open Water Diver (with the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive)
- EFR Primary and Secondary Care training within 24 months. This training can be completed alongside the Rescue Diver course as a parallel course (contact us).
- Complete the 5 knowledge development segments and the final exam
- Demonstrate the Self-Rescue Refresher exercises in confined or open water
- Demonstrate the skills of Open Water Rescue Drills 1-10
- Participate in Open Water Rescue Drills 1 and 2
- Prepare an emergency assistance plan for a dive site

Once the course has been paid for, you will first begin the self-study theoretical portion. The process is as follows:
Once we have all your information, you'll receive a confirmation email from PADI with the material you'll need to study on your own.
Once you're comfortable with the knowledge, you can take the online exam yourself. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or need any clarification during your study period.
Practice
Practice
Once the theoretical exam is passed, all practical exercises and drills are carried out. The minimum duration is two days, but we can arrange a schedule that suits the needs of everyone involved.
To keep in mind for these days:
- We have showers and lockers available to store your belongings.
- It is recommended to bring food although there are also several bars and restaurants around.
- Parking is available (approximately €3/hour for a fee) at the Olympic Port, but it is recommended to come by public transport (Olympic Village stop).
Plans may be affected by weather.
